Noel Davidson, Chairman

  • Managing Director of Davidsons Garage, Carlisle for nearly 40 years
  • Lectured in Motor Engineering for Ford
  • First dealership to sell BMW in Cumbria.
  • 1980's and 1990's - frequently awarded best Lada and Proton dealership for the North of England and Scotland
  • 1988, in response to a huge increase in auto crime, Noel recruited a Security Guard who had responsibility for Mercedes / Rover / Renault / Nissan and Lada. Crime on the Rosehill Industrial Estate was virtually wiped out
  • Noel retired from the motor trade and created RBS Security.
  • 200 - RBS now a Limited Company. Broad customer base throughout Carlisle and Cumbria. employing a number of static and mobile security guards. Range of services extended to include crime prevention, investigation and surveillance expertise.

Greg Kelly, Managing Director

  • 1989 - Joined Cumbria Constabulary. Uniformed duties West Cumbria
  • 1991 -1995 - West Cumbia CID. High profile investigations into serious crime and drug supply in the West Cumbria area. Crime scene analysis, statement taking, evidence gathering, offender interviewing, surveillance and technical attack.
  • 1995 - 1996 - Crime prevention Officer for Copeland area. Business and residential security advice, industrial security surveys. Inter-agency crime prevention partnerships and media liaison.
  • 1996 - 1998 - Carlisle Targeting Unit (Drug Squad). Surveillance was a key method of development in combating the growing tide of heroin supply in the city.
  • 1998 - 2000 - Carlisle CID. Serious crime, domestic and residential burglaries, violent crime, high volume car crime and organized crime.
  • 2000 - 2003 - Prior to joining RBS, Greg served in Special Branch with responsibilities in counter terrorism, counter espionage, counter supervision and counter proliferation and has considerable operational experience in each of these fields. He has been involved in numerous anti terrorist operations and enquiries into domestic terrorism involving hard core environmentalists and animal rights activists. He has expertise in matters relating to surveillance, counter surveillance anti surveillance. He was also responsible for providing Police and Security Service liaison, threat and risk assessments and security reviews for local industry including British Nuclear Fuels PLC.
